This workshop can be part of the Leadership programme or can be delivered in a stand-alone workshop. The overall objective of this module is to develop individual leadership skill and to achieve team results by adopting the four cornerstones of EQ. The research over the years has confirmed that IQ will enable you to get the job and develop your technical and analytical skills.
However, by becoming more aware of your EQ you will be in a position to successfully advance your career. EQ is what differentiates the very technically proficient, it is the difference between what makes a good leader and a great leader. The four corner stones of EQ are Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness and Relationship Management. Participants will learn how to manage their own emotions and recognise others emotive state, the need to be aware of the context, time and space and how to build stronger relationships with colleagues and clients.
