We need to listen more than we talk but for most people, it does not come naturally. Usually, when we converse we switch off very quickly and focus on what we are going to say and often times interrupt ASAP. In this workshop, we will look at formal and informal communication. Developing conversation goals, influencing others, non-verbal communication. We also deal with the types of listening and developing conversational intelligence.

Conversations are not just about the words that are used or the data and information that is discussed. Within each conversation, there is a coded language a sometimes hidden language that is conveyed by way of the postures, emphasis, nuances and tone that the transmitter and receiver adopt.
